There aren\u2019t too many people who can say they\u2019re working in the corporate world from their wheelchair. But\u00a0Vibert<\/span>\u00a0Calderon is one of the special few.\u00a0Despite being born with cerebral palsy, a disorder that affects muscle movement and motor skills,\u00a0Vibert<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0one man that definitely defies the odds. After finishing school at AMA Makati with a degree in Computer Science, Vibert thought he needed to get serious and started\u00a0looking for a job<\/a><\/strong> as a computer programmer. He admitted that job hunting with his condition took him longer than expected. Most of the companies he applied for didn\u2019t call him for an interview, and those that did were too far from his home. Difficult as it may seem, this didn\u2019t stop him from pushing on, even if it took him months to get his first job.<\/p>\n \u201cMy first job was as a data encoder in Taguig, so it\u2019s not very far from what my course is. I worked there for about a year and seven months,\u201d recalled Vibert who was nervously sitting at the corner of the\u00a0TaskUs<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0interview room.
