The results reveal that most of the respondents actually desire healthcare\/wellness benefits more than sick and vacation leaves or financial incentives\/bonuses.<\/p>\n<p>Other results also reveal that importance in benefits differ per age group. While both age groups feel that healthcare is an important benefit that a company should have, millennials chose sick and vacation leave as their second most important, while the older group voted for incentives.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8898\" src=\"https:\/\/neo-blog.kalibrr.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/what-perks-and-benefits-do-jobseekers-value-the-most_.png\" alt=\"what-perks-and-benefits-do-jobseekers-value-the-most\" width=\"498\" height=\"2048\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neo-blog.kalibrr.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/what-perks-and-benefits-do-jobseekers-value-the-most_.png 498w, https:\/\/neo-blog.kalibrr.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/what-perks-and-benefits-do-jobseekers-value-the-most_-73x300.png 73w, https:\/\/neo-blog.kalibrr.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/what-perks-and-benefits-do-jobseekers-value-the-most_-249x1024.png 249w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 498px) 100vw, 498px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Out of the 700+ respondents,<b> 86.9%<\/b> or <strong>637<\/strong><b> <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of them\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">agree that having at least 3 of their top benefits in a job will make them satisfied and happy to work in that company, while a small batch (<strong>13.1%<\/strong>) said they won&#8217;t be satisfied.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And in a choice between two job offers, A.) one having 3 of their top benefits with a livable salary, and B.) the other not having their top benefits but offers a higher salary, <\/span><b>74.2% <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">of the respondents said they would choose a job with a great benefit package over a high salary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Most of their reasons for having chosen job offer A was that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Benefits were more important for them in the long run.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Having great\u00a0benefits are good reasons to stay longer in a company.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Higher salary means higher taxes, also bigger responsibilities and higher stress<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Not any amount of money can compensate an employee&#8217;s health. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Whereas, those that chose job offer B think that a high salary for them was more practical so they can help support their families, and also so that they could save more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>So next time you want to attract a lot applicants in your company, better consider looking at what <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kalibrr.com\/blog\/2016\/04\/what-do-job-applicants-like-to-see-in-your-job-posts\/?utm_source=b2b-blog&amp;utm_medium=in-text&amp;utm_campaign=social-content&amp;utm_content=job-description-120716&amp;ref=b2b-blog_free_social-content_job-description-120716\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">benefit package you&#8217;re putting in the job description<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kalibrr.com\/employers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sign up on Kalibrr<\/a> and start hiring better today!
