Kalibrr and PHINMA Education Enter Official Partnership
The education arm of conglomerate Phinma Corp. has partnered with the first and only end-to-end recruitment solutions provider in Southeast Asia to further improve the lives of students from low-income families through education and meaningful career opportunities
On July 12, 2019, Kalibrr Technology Ventures, Inc. and PHINMA Education Holdings Inc., officially entered a partnership that will see the organizations working together in an effort to provide accessible and quality career opportunities for university and college graduates in the Philippines.
Acknowledging the need for quality resources on the career and employment data of students and graduates, as well as the respective responsibilities of both companies to act to propose and pursue solutions to any identified gaps, PHINMA and Kalibrr look to use the partnership to bring about the modernization and technological advancement in gathering info on the careers of PHINMA students and graduates.
PHINMA Education has been among the fastest-growing network of schools in the Philippines with a total enrolment of 70,000 students school year 2017-2018. It began investing in the education services sector in 2004 via the acquisition of Araullo University in Nueva Ecija. It has since expanded its network of schools to include Cagayan de Oro College in Misamis Oriental, University of Pangasinan in Pangasinan, University of Iloilo in Iloilo, Southwestern University in Cebu City, and Saint Jude College in Metro Manila. PHINMA Education has also established its presence overseas when, starting in 2016 when it established the PHINMA Training Center in Myanmar.
