Electronics Manufacturing Services Company Wins Kalibrr Top Employer of the Year at 2018 Asia CEO Awards

Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. is recognized as 2018’s top employer at the biggest business awards event in the Southeast Asia region

On October 16th, Asia CEO Forum, the largest regular business networking event in the Philippines, held the annual Asia CEO Awards at the Marriott Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.

A gathering of several major companies from the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region, the 2018 Asia CEO Awards saw a number of organizations and business leaders recognized for their various contributions to the continued economic growth of the country. Nominees from each award category were duly recognized with their inclusion in the Asia CEO Circle of Excellence, while overall winners were celebrated with speeches and exclusive commemorative trophies.

Kalibrr Top Employer of the Year

Among the winners of a night filled with celebration and entertainment was Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc., which was recognized as the Kalibrr Top Employer of the Year. Kalibrr Co-Founders COO Dexter Ligot-Gordon and CEO Paul Rivera presented the members of Kalibrr Top Employer Circle of Excellence, and subsequently announced Integrated Micro-Electronics as the overall winner.

According to Ligot-Gordon, “The Kalibrr Top Employer of the Year is an award given to the company that demonstrated Filipino or mixed expatriate management talent that performs at the highest possible standards. The members of the Circle of Excellence for this award have improved and showcased both local and international excellence because of their thrust to give importance to employees’ health and well-being. These companies also highlight talent development, with leadership and employee programs that cultivate employees to become better individuals and to reach management level.”

Operating in ten countries with a total of 21 manufacturing sites, Integrated Micro-Electronics is one of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world. A key to its success is that the company is revered by its employees as a healthy, safe, and fun working environment, with opportunities for professional and personal growth.

2018 Asia CEO Awards

Themed “Let’s Build This Country”, the 2018 Asia CEO Awards reportedly saw its board of judges and official knowledge partner, PwC, receive the highest number submissions for the awards categories this year, more than any of the prior years of the business awards’ series.

 

Determining a winner proved to be an unenviable task for the judges, as everyone in the Circle of Excellence proved to be major contributors to innovation and the continued growth of the local economy. The tight competition this year yielding the following winners:

Lifetime Contributor Awardee from the Private Sector – Tessie Sy-Coson, Vice Chairperson of SM Investments, Inc.

Lifetime Contributor Awardee from the Public Sector – Amando Tetango, former Governor of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas

Healthway Medical Wellness Company of the Year – Chevron Holdings

Philam Group Young Leader of the Year – Christian Lim, Chief Operations Officer (Marketing & Sales Ops) of Microsoft Philippines

I-Remit Heart for the OFW Award – Döhle Seafront Crewing (Manila) Inc.

United Neon Most Innovative Company of the Year –  Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc.

LBC Business Solutions SME Company of the Year – Philippine Urban Living Solutions

SPI Global Technology Company of the Year – Toshiba Information Equipment (Philippines), Inc.

WEnergy Green Company of the Year – HSBC Global Services
