Kalibrr Meets Future Accountants from PUP

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila has been a pioneer in delivering talented and determined accountants to the workplace. As a tribute to their students’ hard work, the PUP Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) Manila organized the 25th Annual Accountancy Week last July 17-22. In its silver year, the weeklong celebration had accountancy students at the edge of their seats as they geared up for a sportsfest, fun games, academic competitions, and more.

The theme Brawl: Battle for Ascendancy highlighted the fighting spirit of future accountants. During the academic seminar held on the first day, renowned CPA review centers such as the Philippine Accountancy Review for Excellence, ReSa Review School of Accountancy, CPA Review School of the Philippines, and CRC-Ace Review School gave tips and resources for the student body so they can prepare for their momentous board exam down the road. Nevertheless, the future is bright for these students. With hundreds of accountancy jobs on the Kalibrr platform, PUP Brand Ambassador Cristina Maling enlightened everyone about which opportunities were ripe for the taking. Not only that, but they were able to register on the platform, too: giving them just the headstart they need for internship hunting!

As they embark on a new school year, PUP’s accounting students keep their heads high as they anticipate the challenges ahead. With Kalibrr and Cristina (Brand Ambassador) around to guide them, they’ll be sure to keep their career path in mind even as they study for their big exams. We’re a big fan of these events.
