Founded in 2013, The Odin Project (TOP) is a FREE and HELPFUL resource that you could use when you’re starting in web development. If you’re more experienced and you already have a career in programming, you can still use this resource to help you review your basic programming fundamentals without spending a single cent!

TOP was built on the philosophy that “education should be free and accessible.” With that, it aims to provide high-quality web development training to people who can’t seek paid learning opportunities.

How to Code: Simple Data is the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) introductory course to programming. However, instead of the students learning about how to properly use programming languages, the course takes a “…unique approach as it focuses on learning a systematic programming method.”

You will learn different programming techniques such as “developing program requirements, producing programs with a consistent structure that is easy to modify later, and making your programs more reliable by building tests as an integral part of the programming process.”
